Job Description:Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join the merchant decisioning team and build a scalable platform/infrastructure that is critical for underwriting and decisioning hundreds of thousands of businesses on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:- Own our Python-based underwriting and application decisioning product and drive its development.
- Closely define the architecture and underlying infrastructure all the way from the technologies we use to the design principles that we apply.
- Work closely with our data scientists to build a platform that is reliable, scalable, and easily iterable.
- Integrate ML Infrastructure into the platform to make DS-driven decisioning more powerful and intelligent.
- You will own our Python-based underwriting and application decisioning product and drive its development.

- You will be integrating ML Infrastructure into the platform to make DS-driven decisioning more powerful and intelligent.
- 3+ years of experience working in an engineering role.
- You care deeply about building high-quality infrastructure with relevant experience and take immense pride in your craft.
- You are comfortable owning and driving the development of the product from 0 to 1.
- You thrive in ambiguity and have a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
- You are excited about working on a small team and helping us set the foundations for the company.
The salary range for this position is between $190K - $220K per year, depending on experience. We also offer equity grants, medical, dental & vision insurance, unlimited PTO, work from home flexibility, commuter benefits, free lunches, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) plan.
