Bilingual Call Center Representative

Job Summary
The primary function of the Call Center Agent is to provide a positive first impression through courteous, efficient, and effective telephone access to all CVCH services. This includes routing calls, making patient appointments, entering patient information in electronic records, and providing current and accurate information about all CVCH services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Answer calls in an efficient, courteous, and prompt manner with the goal of answering every call within 30 seconds or less.
2. Maintain high-quality customer service levels.
3. Schedule appointments for patients using scheduling protocols and answering scripts.
4. Enter data in EMR, EDR, and other electronic records in accordance with protocol.
5. Answer questions courteously and efficiently using answer scripts.
6. Contact patients with reminder calls and reschedule appointments when providers' schedules change.
7. Retain current knowledge of all CVCH programs.
8. Direct phone calls to the proper destination or take a message as per protocol.
9. Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
3. Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience in the medical or business/office field or equivalent education and training.
4. Knowledge of computer applications and equipment related to work.
5. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
