Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Virginia Hospital Center. As a key member of our diagnostic and therapeutic team, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes in various studies.

About the Role
  • This is a 13-week assignment with a daily caseload of 15-18 patients.
  • You will work in a dynamic environment with a diverse range of cases, including general nuclear med studies, cardiac, and EPT/CT.
  • Our team uses a variety of radioisotope equipment, and you will be expected to prepare stock solutions and calculate doses accurately.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Independent work skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
  • Experience with EPIC CLASS: RADIOLOGY CT ONLINE ON UNIT.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

You will work standard Monday-Friday hours with occasional night shifts and weekend on-call duties. Call hours are 1630-0630 Mon-Fri and 24hrs Sat-Sun. You will also be required to wear Pewter Grey scrubs.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Additional Details

Please note that the flu vaccine is required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st). Seasoned travelers are preferred, but we will consider first-time travelers if they have extensive experience.
