Business Development Representative for Care.com

We're seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at Care.com, the world's leading platform for finding and managing high-quality family care.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of B2B sales experience and a proven track record of success in cold-calling sales. They will be responsible for proactively building client relationships, achieving revenue objectives, and maintaining a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
As a Business Development Representative, you will interact with small to medium-sized business owners to offer Care.com's Marketing Solutions, helping them build their customer base and achieve their business goals. You will also work closely with our management team to analyze sales and financial metrics.
This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires a high-energy relationship builder who can identify key client managers, navigate business terms, and secure partnerships that are mutually beneficial to Care.com and our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with small to medium-sized business owners to offer Care.com's Marketing Solutions
- Maintain a consistent and balanced pipeline of opportunities and close deals through the sales cycle
- Monitor daily call volume, messages, and touch points
- Achieve individual sales goals and quota on a consistent weekly and monthly basis
- In-depth understanding of company services/products, industry, and competitive knowledge
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience with cold-calling sales required
- Commit to 100 dials and 3 hours of talk time per day
- Organized and process-driven approach with prioritization of targets and tasks
- Problem-solving and closing skills with ability to handle objections
- Motivation, drive, and self-starting mentality with a focus on results
