Master Fabricator

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Fabricator to join our team at Exactec LLC. As a leading designer and fabricator of custom acrylic point-of-purchase displays, we work directly with top retailers and brands to create engaging shopping experiences. This role involves working with CNC equipment and hand machining tools to produce high-quality parts and finished goods.

• Read blueprints and instructions to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Set up CNC equipment per work instructions and understand G codes for machine setup.
• Utilize manual and automated equipment to safely manufacture parts.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust feed rates to maintain quality and identify issues.
• Measure and check parts for quality and correctness.
• Select appropriate machines and position or load material for jobs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Ensure fabrication is completed in the safest and most efficient method.
• Communicate any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain and count inventory as needed.
• Other tasks as requested by supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a CNC machine operator.
• Experience working with machining equipment.
• Ability to read and understand G codes.
• Proven experience working with various machining tools, including CNC routers, saws, hand routers, drill presses, edgers, joiners, buffers, and table saws.
• Working knowledge of measuring equipment, such as tape measures and calipers.
• Responsible and trustworthy individual with a focus on quality and safety.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
