About the Role:
  • We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Perioperative Nursing Professional to provide top-notch patient care in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring evidence-based practice and adherence to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum standards.
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new staff members and providing educational support for competency validation during clinical orientation.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
