Job Overview

At Skill Crew, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, guide them to their tables, and provide menus and assistance with seating arrangements as needed.
  • Menu Presentation and Order Taking: Present menus to guests, provide detailed explanations of menu items, specials, and promotions, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
  • Order Management: Relay orders to the kitchen and bar promptly, monitor order progress, and ensure timely delivery to guests.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in accordance with established presentation standards, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Guest Satisfaction and Feedback: Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with meals, address any concerns or requests promptly and courteously, and proactively offer refills, condiments, or additional items to enhance their dining experience.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service delivery.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including dining areas and server stations.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements and Skills
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and order delivery.
  • Professionalism and Flexibility: Capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining professionalism at all times, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions.
