Job Summary:

The Elkhart County Human Resources department is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join their team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and improving County network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain County network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and manage network security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to identify and resolve network issues.
  • Develop and implement network policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related field or MCSE or CCNA certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration, including hands-on experience with network diagnostics, analytics tools, and network infrastructure management.
  • Thorough knowledge of current server and cloud systems, hardware, programming, and standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication skills, and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices.
