Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team as an Academic Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1+ years of experience in school psychology and be passionate about promoting student well-being and academic success.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity within a collaborative school district in Killeen, TX. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement strategies that enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and create tailored intervention plans.
  • Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with educators and families to promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer critical support during emergencies, helping to manage and resolve situations affecting students and the school community.
Compensation and Benefits
