Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Engineer to join our team at The Judge Group. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement telecommunications networks, including fiber optic and microwave systems
  • Install, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and other network devices
  • Develop and implement network security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network issues
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering, with a focus on network design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications protocols, including IP, Ethernet, and fiber optic
  • Experience with network security protocols and tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Telecommunications or a related field
  • Professional certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP
  • Experience with network management software, such as SolarWinds or Nagios

Work Environment
