Job Description: Doherty | The Employment Experts is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Solve production problems, especially when issues happen repeatedly or have a big business impact
  • Tackle challenges with little supervision
  • Improve efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce use
  • Identify the parts, tools, and equipment needed to meet production goals
  • Lead projects with moderate to high complexity, including planning tasks in advance
  • Provide guidance to operators, team leads, and supervisors during production issues
  • Perform technical calculations and support advanced improvement projects
  • Assist other engineers and provide technical and project management advice
  • May coordinate equipment installations and testing

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering concepts, LEAN methods, and problem-solving techniques (DMAIC)
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Skilled in reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and customer specifications
  • Proficient in using computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, email)
  • Good decision-making skills and effective communication in English
