Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse for a travel nursing position in Lynchburg, Virginia.

As a medical/surgical telemetry nurse, you will extend care to patients who are coping with illness, injury or other medical or surgical circumstances. This includes assessing their condition, using telemetry to monitor blood pressure, heart rhythm, respiration and oxygen saturation, administering medication, changing dressings and documenting information in patient charts.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information in medical charts
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care


Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
  • Current RN licensure in the United States
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
