Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic tests, and implementing treatment plans to ensure optimal respiratory health.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with physicians and nurses to develop and implement respiratory care plans for patients
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis
- Implement treatment plans, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol therapy
- Provide education to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or within six months of hire
- Licensed as an RCP in the State of Iowa
- Experience in critical care and neonatal/pediatric respiratory care preferred
