Job Summary:

Shin Etsu MicroSi is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging their chemistry or chemical engineering background to create and close new opportunities while managing an existing customer base. This sales-focused position requires a strong understanding of application needs and parent company capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical solutions to customers by thoroughly understanding their needs and parent company capabilities.
  • Leverage chemistry or chemical engineering background to create and close new opportunities.
  • Manage an existing customer base and identify new business opportunities.
  • Act as liaison between customers, internal departments, and parent company to ensure customer satisfaction and address technical, quality, and commercial issues.
  • Compile, interpret, and present product evaluation data to customers and parent company.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in physical sciences or engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a semiconductor environment.
  • Sales experience with semiconductor packaging material, processes, or equipment is a plus.

Work Environment:
This is a work-from-home position. Job functions are anticipated to be performed inside but may occasionally require time spent outside, in a cold storage facility, or extended travel to domestic or international destinations.
