Job Summary

Globus Medical is seeking a highly skilled Neuromonitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. This is a unique opportunity to work with top surgeons and medical professionals in a dynamic team environment, contributing to the success of our patients and the advancement of our technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain detailed medical histories and consult with surgeons to determine patient structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
  • Communicate monitoring information to the surgical team throughout the case, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Display and label waveforms, measuring and calculating critical information such as latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
  • Identify and troubleshoot protocols to ensure accurate data collection, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Complete all required documentation and prepare IOM logs, files, and timely file uploads.
  • Maintain neuromonitoring equipment, performing regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and no previous professional experience.
  • Must be CNIM eligible via one pathway as defined by the ABRET website.
  • Knowledge of Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or human anatomy & physiology and/or technical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and frequent change.
  • Effective communication skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to handle the demands of regular travel.
  • Be qualified for and maintain privileges at all required hospitals, meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements.
