Responsibilities
Sales Support:
- Assist in generating insurance quotes and preparing proposals for clients.
- Support the sales team in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims processing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
Marketing and Outreach:
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns and outreach efforts to attract new clients.
- Participate in community events and networking activities to promote State Farm services.
- Develop social media content and other marketing materials.
Administrative Tasks:
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and organizing workspaces.
- Schedule appointments and manage the agent's calendar.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs and workshops to gain knowledge about insurance products and services.
- Study for and work towards obtaining necessary insurance licenses.
- Learn about State Farm policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Licensing:
- The willingness to study for and obtain necessary state insurance licenses during the internship is required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles is a plus but not required.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships is crucial.
- Good organizational and time management abilities are necessary.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills are required.
