Responsibilities

  • Sales Support:

    • Assist in generating insurance quotes and preparing proposals for clients.
    • Support the sales team in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Customer Service:

    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
    • Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims processing.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
  • Marketing and Outreach:

    • Assist in executing marketing campaigns and outreach efforts to attract new clients.
    • Participate in community events and networking activities to promote State Farm services.
    • Develop social media content and other marketing materials.
  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
    • Assist in maintaining office supplies and organizing workspaces.
    • Schedule appointments and manage the agent's calendar.
  • Learning and Development:

    • Participate in training programs and workshops to gain knowledge about insurance products and services.
    • Study for and work towards obtaining necessary insurance licenses.
    • Learn about State Farm policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Licensing:

    • The willingness to study for and obtain necessary state insurance licenses during the internship is required.
  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles is a plus but not required.
  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
    • Ability to build and maintain client relationships is crucial.
    • Good organizational and time management abilities are necessary.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills are required.
