Job Summary

This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth within the company's existing footprint. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

The New Business Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a sound business plan to capture and penetrate market share, focusing on high-potential accounts. This includes opening new accounts, driving sales dollars, and maintaining a pipeline of emerging high-potential clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the foodservice industry, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

The New Business Manager will collaborate with Category and Segment Specialists to create customized solutions for prospective accounts, develop compelling offerings, and present these to potential customers. Additionally, this role will involve researching customer requirements, analyzing market trends, and sharing information with customers as part of value-added services provided.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, results-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines. They will possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be able to present in front of large groups of people. This role requires overnight travel to participate in trainings, meetings, or other company events.

The expected base salary for this role is between $85,000 and $130,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and education. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus. Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience required.
  • Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Able to present in front of large groups of people using creative presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
