Salary and Benefits

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a rehearsal schedule that ensures high-quality performances
  • Collaborating with the choir committee to plan and execute concert programs
  • Providing guidance and support to singers to enhance their vocal skills and musicality
  • Maintaining excellent communication and organisational skills to work effectively with the committee and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to the overall artistic vision and direction of the choir

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Proven experience in adult choral conducting and a strong knowledge of vocal techniques and choral repertoire
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with choir members and committee
  • A positive and motivational approach to rehearsals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
  • The ability to plan and communicate a rehearsal schedule for each concert
