About the Role:The Nurse Practitioner at Abode Care Partners will be responsible for examining and treating chronic illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and maintaining up-to-date patient records while adhering to healthcare regulations. This role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in medical instruments and equipment.
- Evaluating patient medical needs and developing individualized treatment plans
- Performing routine physical exams and providing preventive care services
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
To be considered for this position, you must have an active state Nurse Practitioners license, current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification, active state DEA licensure, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), and five or more years of nursing experience, with at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred. You should also have strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations and proficiency in computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
