Job Title: Laboratory Operations Manager

Location: Tulsa, OK

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week

Salary Range: Up to $44.88 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Laboratory Operations Manager to join our team in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will assist the Laboratory Director in overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with all Division and Corporate policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily laboratory operations and staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
  • Assist in compiling data and preparing reports for regulatory compliance and accreditation.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Laboratory Director to implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and enhance laboratory efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Physical Science, OR an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technician with more than 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
  • Laboratory certification from an accredited laboratory certification program (CLS, MLS, MT, MLT, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • At least 1 year of progressive leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience managing laboratory staff and coordinating workflow.
  • Proficiency in laboratory information systems and relevant technology.
