About the Role

Offit Kurman, a leading full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Support Specialist to join their team in Timonium, MD. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to contribute to commercial dispute resolution matters alongside a dedicated team of legal professionals.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive litigation support, including case management from inception through trial. Key responsibilities include:

  • eDiscovery Management: Manage and organize large volumes of documents and evidence, both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Litigation Support: Provide expert assistance to attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, including creating exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, interrogatories, and case summaries.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in eDiscovery, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency in eDiscovery tools and software, such as Relativity, Concordance, or similar platforms, is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary Range

This position comes with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. After a trial period, employees can expect a flexible work arrangement, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Strong experience with eDiscovery, preferably with proficiency in eDiscovery tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
