Survey Technician

Sandis is a professional services corporation specializing in civil engineering, traffic engineering, land surveying, and planning. We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team in Modesto, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ALTA Surveys and other boundary surveys, topographic surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
  • Field crew support with the preparation of stakeout calculations.
  • Coordinate and follow up with consultants and the city about projects.
  • Survey CADD production using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Align daily work with differing project scopes and critical deadlines.
  • Drafting aerial surveys from our UAV (Drone).
Requirements:
  • 1+ Field or Office survey experience.
  • Pursuing LSIT, and/or FAA Pilot License.
  • Knowledgeable of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Pix4d and Leica-based scanning software preferred.
  • Experience with survey equipment, such as GPS, Robotic, and Total Station.
