Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Ministry Director to lead our efforts in engaging and empowering our youth. As a key member of our Next Gen team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive youth ministry program that aligns with the mission and values of Forest Hill Church.

The ideal candidate will have a deep and active Christian faith, with a commitment to the values and mission of Forest Hill Church. They will have a proven track record of effective leadership and program development, with a strong ability to connect with and inspire youth of diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that aligns with the mission and values of Forest Hill Church
  • Plan and coordinate regular youth group meetings, Bible studies, retreats, and special events
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders and mentors to assist with youth activities and programs
  • Foster positive relationships with youth, parents, and the broader church community
  • Provide pastoral care and counseling to youth and their families as needed
  • Collaborate with church staff and leadership to integrate youth ministry into the overall church mission
  • Manage the youth ministry budget and resources effectively
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in youth ministry and incorporate innovative approaches
