We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineering Manager to join our team at ConsultNet. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms. This includes implementing best practices for scalability, reliability, and security of the cloud environment.

As a Cloud Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with our business goals. You will also stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our cloud environment remains cutting-edge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms
  • Implementing best practices for scalability, reliability, and security of the cloud environment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy
  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Overseeing the deployment and configuration of applications and services on cloud platforms
  • Implementing and maintaining automation processes to streamline operational tasks
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud environment
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Monitoring cloud resource usage and identifying opportunities for cost optimization
  • Developing and implementing strategies to manage and control cloud-related expenses
  • Leading and mentoring a team of cloud engineers and administrators and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture within the team
  • Providing technical expertise and support for complex cloud-related issues and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues

Requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in AWS Technologies
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with PaaS
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with YAML
  • Skills in Ansible
  • Proficiency in Terraform
  • Demonstrable experience in scripting languages
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in cloud technologies
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles
  • Experience in cloud automation and orchestration
  • Ability to develop and implement cloud strategy and coordinate adoption across the organization
