Job Title: Activities Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to join our team at Midtown Oaks Health & Rehab Center. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, educational, and cultural programs for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being
  • Develop and lead activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and resident participation
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents, families, and staff
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience working with seniors in a recreational or social setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
