About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler System Maintenance Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our sprinkler systems, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.

Estimated Salary Range: $35.50 - $43.75 per hour (based on local market conditions)

About the Job Description

  • Respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including equipment/system malfunctions, and troubleshoot issues with customers.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with district staff and customers to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and be available for after-hours support as needed.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, maintain accurate records, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

About the Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in fire sprinkler/suppression industry, preferably in maintenance, repair, or installation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET Level II certification desired.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Possess a strong understanding of safety guidelines and procedures, with a focus on preventing accidents and injuries.
