Job Summary

NASC GLOBAL, a distinguished HR Consulting and Management firm, has been retained by a prominent Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) firm to assist in the identification of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for their esteemed client.

The ideal candidate will possess Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials and have a substantial background in the Telecom or Infrastructure sectors. The position can be located in a metropolitan area or a region with a strong financial presence.

Qualified individuals who are prepared to lead financial operations and drive strategic growth within a dynamic environment are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: A competitive salary range of $300K, plus Bonus and Equity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the organization's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and refine both short-term and long-term strategic plans for the company, focusing on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and recommendations to the CEO regarding revenue models, funding requirements, and capital structures, leveraging expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Support investor negotiations, including the review and finalization of pertinent documents, such as financial statements and due diligence reports.
  • Formulate and manage an annual operating budget as well as a monthly operating plan, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a financial team to effectively manage global operations and services, ensuring the team achieves its objectives and meets the company's financial goals.
  • Administer cash operations to ensure the availability of funds and establish a cash forecasting process aligned with the operating budgets, minimizing financial risk and ensuring liquidity.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions and strategic alliances with major vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in financial operations, with a proven track record of success in leading financial teams and driving strategic growth.
  • Demonstrated experience with early-stage, high-growth ventures, particularly within the technology sector, with a thorough understanding of the challenges associated with scaling such companies.
  • Proven experience in both private and public fundraising, encompassing equity, debt, and strategic investments, with a strong network of institutional investors, strategic investors, bankers, and accounting firms.
  • Expertise in supporting go-to-market activities, pricing strategies, and commercial contracts, with a deep understanding of the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Experience with transitioning private companies to public status and managing M&A activities, both pre- and post-acquisition, with a strong understanding of the financial and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a CFO in high-growth technology ventures, including involvement in venture capital and private equity financings.
  • Experience in a global CFO role, with responsibility for managing operations across multiple countries, with a strong understanding of international financial regulations and standards.
  • Strong financial acumen, with accounting experience being secondary and supportable by a Controller, with a deep understanding of financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Background in managing public companies, with a strong understanding of the financial and regulatory requirements.
  • A degree of technical fluency to effectively navigate the complexities of the role, with a strong understanding of financial systems and software.
  • Experience in the Telecom, mobile, or satellite industries is advantageous, though not essential.
