Machinist - Fabrication Specialist

At Exactec LLC, we are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our production team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for fabricating parts and components using CNC equipment and hand machining tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and instructions to fabricate parts per specification.
• Set up CNC machines according to work instructions and understand G codes for machine setup.
• Operate manual and automated equipment to safely manufacture parts.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust feed rates to maintain quality and identify issues.
• Measure and check parts for quality and correctness.
• Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Ensure fabrication is completed in the safest and most efficient method.
• Communicate any issues to supervisor.
• Maintain and count inventory as needed.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a CNC machine operator.
• Experience working with machining equipment.
• Ability to read and understand G codes.
• Proven experience working with machining equipment, including CNC routers, CNC saws, hand routers, drill press, edgers, joiners, buffers, and table saws.
• Ability to read measuring equipment, including tape measures and calipers.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Quality and safety driven.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
