Job Summary

This position involves delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient responses to treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Conduct patient education sessions to empower individuals and families to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in nursing practice through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Candidates must hold a current RN license in the State of Utah or obtain one within 90 days of hire under the interstate compact.
  • Must have at least one year of experience in crisis care or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS training preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This position involves intensive work that may exert up to 100 pounds and requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects while providing medical care.
