Bengali OR Tamil Linguist

Group SSI is a leading provider of cleared professionals and solutions to the Department of Defense, Department of State, and other government agencies. We are seeking a highly skilled Bengali or Tamil linguist to join our team.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the SCRL language and culture, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills. They will be responsible for comprehending and speaking both SCRL and English, and will work closely with our team to provide language support and expertise.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing language support and expertise to our team
• Comprehending and speaking both SCRL and English
• Familiarity with the cultural context of both SCRL and English
• Knowledge of terminology in specialized fields
• Observing protocols applicable to different settings
• Mastery of modes applicable to these settings

Requirements include:

• Category II (CAT II, SECRET) clearance
• ILR level three (3) proficiency in SCRL
• US citizenship (active clearance preferred)
• Current passport
• Pass a standard physical examination
• Comply with all security requirements
• Comply with necessary theater clearance, training, immunizations, and medical requirements
