Mercy Hospital Ardmore is seeking a skilled RN to join our Medical / Pediatric Unit.
Unit Overview:
The Medical / Pediatric Unit is a 32-bed unit that provides care to a diverse patient population, including Med/Surg and Pediatric patients. Our team works together to deliver exceptional patient care, addressing a range of needs such as CHF, Renal failure, Dialysis, COPD, Pneumonia, and Covid. We also care for pediatric patients with RSV, UTI, oral surgeries, and appendectomies.
Skills and Training:
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in PIV and Foley catheters, PICC lines, PEG tubes, and NGT. Our patients typically stay with us for 2-4 days in acute care, and we prioritize teamwork to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: A current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Physical demands: The ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds, and to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Experience: New or experienced RNs are welcome to apply.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
