About the Role

Pierre Landscape is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our field operations team. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, training procedures, and quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation and management of field operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for field installation, including training and onboarding of new staff.
  • Monitor and document field productivity and efficiency, tracking production rates and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all training materials are accurate and up-to-date, and conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the field operations team, supporting them in meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and direct maintenance of all jobsite areas, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and company policies.
  • Facilitate the start and end of maintenance projects, ensuring that all specifications are met.
  • Conduct training sessions on irrigation controllers, irrigation systems, and plant needs, as outlined in contracts.
  • Mitigate potential financial exposure through warranty claims, and bring resolution to accepted claims.
  • Supervise foremen and ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Protect the company's interests by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Perform administrative duties in a timely manner, and represent Pierre Landscape in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Leadership skills and experience in a management role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a must.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and bring assignments to a successful completion under specific deadlines.
  • Effective at managing change within the organization, and establishing and maintaining networking relationships.
  • Team building and influencing skills, with the ability to analyze problems and provide solutions.
  • A sense of urgency and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
