Job OverviewThe R&D Program Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of development projects for the organization. They will lead the development of new products and features to create new revenue sources. The R&D Program Manager will initiate programs, follow their progress, and serve as a support provider in case issues arise. They will coordinate efforts among internal technical teams and outside vendors, as well as develop and manage effective schedules. The R&D Program Manager will identify risks and mitigation plans to successfully complete the project.
About the Role- Work closely with the Product management team and leadership teams to establish project and product requirements and success criteria.
- Manage new product development and continuation engineering projects for all Packsize products within a customer segment.
- Directly interface with internal teams and customers to manage the testing and validation of development projects.
- Lead the cross-functional product release team for all new product development projects to track technical issues, implement solutions, drive new products and features through the development process, ensure projects meet deadlines and are completed within budget, and effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use resources more efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- Additional degree in administration, business, management, or a related field is a plus.
- 5+ years of previous experience in project and/or program management is preferred.
