Electromechanical Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Description
Field Service Technicians are sought after by DOC Services Inc. to provide support and repair solutions for electromechanical equipment in big box retail stores. With over 35 years of experience servicing over 1500 stores across the US, our fully certified technicians offer customers preventative and reactive maintenance services designed to extend the life of their equipment, reducing downtime and minimizing the impact on our customer's bottom line. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in performing preventative and reactive maintenance services on electromechanical equipment within the target city and surrounding areas.Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and provide a solution
- Perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment adhering to OSHA safety regulations
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines
- Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or a combination of training and experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- Must have excellent people skills and always represent the Company in a positive manner
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work independently
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand, bend, and drive for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights of more than 6 ft.
