Senior Process Engineer Role Overview

As a Senior Process Engineer at Stantec, you will play a vital role in delivering sustainable solutions for communities worldwide. Our Water business is comprised of top engineers and scientists who view water as a holistic system, rather than separate networks. We work throughout the hydrologic cycle to ensure water is where it's needed and available when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project proposal and application processes across the US and Canada with a focus on the North Region.
  • Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer systems or products for projects.
  • Analyze proposed projects to ensure safety, reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop detailed proposals for various project settings.
  • Collaborate with staff to increase project wins and develop long-lasting client relationships.

About You:
You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. As a hard-working and positive individual, you will possess excellent time-management skills, thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting, and efficient use of resources.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of total experience, with 2 years of operational experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within 12 months.

A competitive salary range of $123,700 - $185,600, depending on location, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage, and paid family leave. Additionally, regular full-time employees receive ten paid holidays per year and are eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year, along with paid sick leave.
