About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team at American Family Care Ladera Ranch. This role involves performing radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner.
  • Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
  • Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for reading by a physician and radiologist.
  • Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, and protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment.
  • Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed.
  • Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant when needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of a state-recognized vocational school.
  • Experience as a Back Office Medical Assistant/Limited X-Ray Tech in an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Windows.
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited limited radiology program, including digital training.
  • XT X-Ray Permit in torso, extremity, chest, and digital imaging.
  • MA Certificate.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • DOT and Drug Testing Experience.
