Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Coordinator to join our team at SmartStyle by YSG. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and success across our portfolio of salons.

As a Market Coordinator, you will oversee a dynamic portfolio of 15-25 salons, steering profitable growth across all locations. Your leadership extends to regular virtual office meetings, where you build strong business relationships and a developmental environment. Your dedication to creating a high-performing team, recruiting and training salon leaders and stylists, ensures swift onboarding and continuous improvement. Your commitment to employee satisfaction and effective performance management contributes to talent retention and consistent team excellence.

You will coach salon leaders to groom stylists for promotions, fostering a culture of growth and progression. Your hands-on approach involves recognition, coaching, and when necessary, the termination of non-performing staff. Prioritizing technical training enhances performance and guest satisfaction. Beyond operations, your emphasis on team development and overall performance mirrors leading as a business owner, embodying excellent customer service in every decision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of 15-25 salons, driving profitable growth across all locations
  • Lead regular virtual office meetings to build strong business relationships and a developmental environment
  • Recruit and train salon leaders and stylists to ensure swift onboarding and continuous improvement
  • Coach salon leaders to groom stylists for promotions, fostering a culture of growth and progression
  • Prioritize technical training to enhance performance and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel between salons daily
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
