About the Role

This SLP position involves assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language deficits, as well as cognitive or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment findings, goals, and specific needs.
  • Provide therapy to address issues related to speech articulation, language comprehension, and expression.
  • Treat voice disorders, fluency disorders, and aphasia caused by neurological conditions such as stroke.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), working to improve their ability to eat and drink safely.
Requirements

Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and be licensed to practice in the state where the assignment is located.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at $**,*** per year, based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Additionally, Magnet Medical offers a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
