We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join our Global Operations team at Carbyne, a leading emergency collaboration technology provider. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, integrating, and implementing our innovative public safety products for clients in the national first responders systems (911) and government sectors worldwide.

Job Description

Your Role:

You will lead the design, integration, and implementation of network solutions that meet public safety products' requirements. Your responsibilities will include leading network projects, configuring and maintaining networking equipment, ensuring network security, and monitoring performance. You will thrive in a high-activity environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex network solutions
  • Lead network projects, including establishment, upgrades, expansions, and migrations
  • Configure and maintain Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco switches, and routers
  • Ensure network security by implementing best practices and conducting regular security audits
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 10 years of experience as a network engineer or equivalent in critical service industries. You must have strong experience with AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Ingress/Egress architectures, and Route 53. Additionally, you should have in-depth knowledge of planning, designing, implementing, and operating an Enterprise IT network environment and data center network.
