Behavioral Health Recovery Coach

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Coach to join our team at Dartmouth Health. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders and a passion for providing non-clinical support services.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with patients to engage them in support services and provide education on treatment and recovery options.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with local treatment teams and in-patient facilities to assist clients with treatment needs.
- Provide follow-up calls and meetings with patients to offer ongoing support and referrals.
- Assist individuals in identifying and developing natural community supports to foster independence and community integration.
- Completion of 30-hour Recovery Coach Academy training or comparable training.
- Completion of 16-Hour Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches training or comparable training.
- Completion of Certified Recovery Support Worker training within twelve months of hire.
- Lived experience valued; experience relating to persons with substance use disorders needed; empathic and non-judgmental approach essential.
- Experience with recovery concepts and practices that honor any pathway to recovery.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Access to dependable transportation; vehicle and license highly preferred.
