Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Specialist will be responsible for facilitating electrophysiology procedures, preparing patients for procedures, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting physicians as needed. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

  • Facilitate electrophysiology procedures through room preparation, patient preparation, patient monitoring, and assisting physicians as needed.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and conducting pre-procedure checks.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to physicians.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, and stimulating roles.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry and 2 years of EP lab experience.
  • An Associate degree in Nursing and current Registered Nurse licensure in the state where work is performed.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, with RCIS and RCES preferred.
