About the Opportunity

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking an experienced AP Accountant to join our team. Our client is a well-established organization in the banking industry, known for its great people and management that truly appreciates its employees.

Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile complex invoices on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and analyze invoices to identify potential issues and discrepancies.
  • Upload PDF invoices into the system and assign them to the appropriate workflow.
  • Run pre-paids and accruals in the system as required.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as requested by management.
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Clean background check required.
  • Basic Excel skills, including sorting and basic formulas.
  • Ability to understand and upload files into the GL system.
  • Prologue, a Fiserv system, is the GL system - our client will provide training.
  • Degree and previous banking experience are a plus, but not required.
Personality Fit
  • Hard working and quick learner.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
  • Proactive and willing to ask questions or bring issues to the Chief Accounting Officer.
