Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to assist with the maintenance and repair of our Automated Material Handling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and troubleshooting skills.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues, and document maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and unsafe conditions.
  • Assist in inventory management and spare parts tracking, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience working as an automotive technician, HVAC system, elevator repair, electrician, building maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the material handling industry is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with CMMS platforms is a plus.
