Machinist Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Fabrication Specialist to join our team at BlackHawk Industrial Operating Co. in the United States.

The estimated salary for this role is around $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a Machinist Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for manufacturing parts to customer specifications using manual mills, lathes, and grinders. This includes:

• Setting up machinery and preparing jobs for production
• Machining parts with close tolerances and maintaining high-quality standards
• Cleaning and inspecting machinery and parts
• Keeping work areas clean and organized

You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, as well as use various tools and equipment such as micrometers, digital calipers, and radius gages.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong math skills and ability to apply algebra and geometry
• Knowledge of cutting tools and machine shop equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
