We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Estimation Specialist to join our dynamic Preconstruction Team at 35 North. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver exceptional cost estimation services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and delivering conceptual estimates, detailed cost estimates, constructability reviews, phasing and logistics analyses, cost reconciliations, and more;
  • Assisting in the maintenance of client relationships and ensuring satisfaction with cost management performance;
  • Leading project estimate processes from kickoff through completion;
  • Sourcing material and equipment quotes, performing quantitative takeoff using plans, specifications, and 3D models, and leading project risk and pricing analysis;
  • Managing estimate QAQC and review process, leading individual and group training on a project level, and acting as a mentor and assisting in the development of team members;

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 4-8 years of construction estimating experience;
  • A degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar preferred; a combination of education and work experience will also be considered;
  • Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (or similar take-off software), Bluebeam, Excel, and other Microsoft related software;
  • The ability to think critically, work independently, and solve complex problems effectively.

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a highly competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Our benefits package includes:
