About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Sales Development Representative to join our team at PSPDFKit GmbH. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for setting qualified meetings for our Sales Representatives and managing both inbound leads and outbound call campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly metrics for meetings set for Sales Representatives
  • Prospect to, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts
  • Score inbound leads
  • Kick off meetings that have been set, and lead the introductions portion of those meetings
  • Respond to inbound customer leads and qualify these leads in order to set a meeting for a Sales Representative
  • Successfully manage and overcome any initial customer objections. If unable, quickly introduce Sales and Sales Management to assist
  • Ability to call within all levels of an organization and identify business needs for all PSPDFKit offerings
  • Liaise with Marketing to drive attendance to, and follow up on events such as trainings, webinars, and conferences
  • Follow up with attendees and registrants to events in an attempt to set a meeting
  • Utilization of CRM and communication tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, etc.)
  • Utilization of Internet research tools for prospecting (LinkedIn)
Requirements
  • Have sales development or related experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification and goal achievement preferred
  • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident, able to work diligently and independently, and goal-oriented
  • Experience in speaking with decision makers
  • Fast learner with strong technical aptitude
  • Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization
  • Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred

We are a globally distributed company with a mostly remote team. Some roles work a hybrid schedule in one of our offices in US, UK, France, and Austria. This position is a hybrid position working from our Raleigh, North Carolina office. We are a low meeting culture company and believe in the effectiveness of asynchronous communication. Working time should overlap with most of the team across the US, Europe and Asia. If working from the US, you must be located in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia for payroll processing.

We host a company gathering at an offsite location every year; past locations have been in Croatia, Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria, Portugal, and Hungary.
