Job Summary

The Senior Clinical Coordinator - RN plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) treatment assessment tool. This position is responsible for reviewing care plans to guarantee compliance with Genesis HealthCare's high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure proper reimbursement for services provided within our nursing centers.
  • Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to ensure achievement of maximum allowable Resource Utilization Groups (RUGs) categories.
  • Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to guarantee accurate reimbursement.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with MDS experience may also be considered. A minimum of one year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

Position Details

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 per year. The job is located in Parsippany.
