About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting with the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. You will be responsible for assembling, setting up, and using surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the care and preparation of surgical patients
  • Assemble, set up, and use surgical instrumentation and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
