Job Summary

Venu+ is seeking a skilled Driver Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate medium to large trucks daily to deliver and pick up rental equipment at theme parks, resorts, and other facilities as instructed.
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customer/guest needs.
  • Perform maintenance services for mobility equipment, including strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers and other allied equipment.
  • Ensure documents delivery and accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives reporting any discrepancies to company.
  • Maintain a safe work area and complies with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  • Loading and unloading equipment in a timely manner.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as required.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience as a box truck driver.
  • Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Excellent driving and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
