About the Role

  • This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule.
  • You will supervise the daily activities of assigned staff, creating work schedules, coordinating staffing assignments, and training, coaching, and evaluating team members.
  • Your expertise in cardiopulmonary diagnostics will be utilized to perform procedures such as echo and/or vascular exams, stress testing, Holter monitor scanning, and PFTs.
  • As a leader, you will coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations, including monitoring productivity, personnel needs, scheduling, overtime, supplies, equipment needs, quality control, education, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You will assist management with selection, development, and supervision of personnel, establishing performance improvement criteria and overseeing cross-training between cardiopulmonary diagnostic modalities.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
